Welcome to our little shop. We are Lucius and Alison Mhoon. We live, work and play in Northwest Arkansas. This is the area we call home and where we have decided to put down some roots and raise our family.
Lucius was born and raised in Tontitown, AR; it is a small Italian community. It was here that he learned the art of making pasta from his ancestors. As a child, every summer his family spent time making pasta noodles for the Tontitown Grape Festival, a fundraiser held annually for St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He currently manages the restaurant his mother founded.
I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. I ventured to Arkansas in 1999 to pursue my Bachelors degree. I majored in Poultry Science and discovered my passion for all things food! It was actually over a plate of Pozza's Pasta that Lucius and I fell in love. So, it only seems fitting that we now own the company and want to share our love with you.
In the Summer of 2005, Lucius bought Pozza's and proposed and the rest is history. We have been in business ever since and never looked back. In 2016 we decided to open an online shop, so that we could share our extraordinary noodles with people all over the world.
Our pasta is a superior dried pasta, the taste and texture are different than other pasta's on the market. We believe that is because we use regular flour and the same handmade process our immigrant forefathers taught us. Pozza's Pasta has been in business for over 40 years. Each new generation has continued to produce pasta the same way our Italian ancestors did when they settled in Tontitown, AR over 100 years ago. We hope that you enjoy eating it as much as we enjoy making it!
